A Bit About Me
A Bit About Me and How We Might Work Together
As a clinical therapist with over 20 years of therapeutic experience of successfully helping
people in their time of need, I enjoy serving a diverse range of adults and couples.
My counseling journey began with helping the displaced in inner cities and evolved to working in a variety of health care settings and community mental health clinics. I still do much of that, as well as helping people in my private practice.
Because of my own life experiences I am sensitive to each person’s need to be heard, be
understood, and have a safe space to heal. My life has been a continual process of learning
and growth, and I bring that viewpoint to my efforts to compassionately support you in your
journey.
My goal is to help enable you to develop effective and holistic coping techniques to live a more free, authentic and meaningful life. Together we will address issues such as relationship struggles, communication barriers, or the effects of depression / anxiety / traumatic experiences/ grief / perfectionism / and aging-related changes.
My counseling style is conversational, solution-focused, empowering and goal oriented.
We will work together to determine the best approach based on your goals, circumstances and personality!
